FOR ELECTION

The Sydney Liberals are a strong, experienced and diverse team with the skills necessary to refresh Sydney.

Under our plan to refresh Town Hall, your Liberal Councillors will: Work to ensure Sydney becomes a more welcoming place to live, operate a small business, and invest in creative industries and cultural pursuits.  We will work to reduce red tape, keep rates low and encourage innovation in and activation of our public spaces.

Working alongside the NSW Government we want the City of Sydney to lead Australia in the pursuit of emissions mitigation measures to ensure a sustainable future.

We will fight to better utilise almost $1bn in City of Sydney assets for the benefit of the community.  

We will fight to invest funds to redevelop council-owned assets to ensure they are accessible and available to the community; a key priority will be using these assets to reduce homelessness, and support at-risk and vulnerable communities.

Support local small and medium sized business to cut red tape and make approvals faster. We will also work with businesses and residents to reinvigorate, beautify and improve the amenity of key business precincts, such as:

✔ OxfordStreet in Darlinghurst
✔ Kings Cross/Potts Point
✔ Crown and Bourke Streets precinct in Surry Hills, Redfern
✔ Waterloo, Zetland and Green Square.
