I moved to Sydney in 2013, living in around the City of Sydney. During that time I have been an activist for the Liberal Party as well as an enthusiastic supporter of the successful efforts to introduce equal marriage. This comes on the back of campaigning on the same issue in the UK.

A market researcher by profession working in healthcare and consumer market research in Australia and internationally.  I also have a background in law, gaining a masters in law in 2019 and was called to the English bar in 2017. Other interests include teaching English which I did as a volunteer in South East Asia as well as for programmes helping Refugees with English in Sydney. I try to learn languages myself, learning Chinese and Italian.

I care passionately about Sydney and seeing it succeed. There is so much to love but it could be even better if creative industries and business were allowed to thrive. For example I would love to see a full regeneration of Oxford Street which has been allowed to decline in the last decades and a boosting of culture and NTE in the CBD itself.
